Book cover images are displayed under fair use for recommendation and review purposes
The EmberReads name, logo, and original design are our intellectual property
Community-contributed data (ratings, tags, warnings) is owned collectively and may not be scraped or redistributed without permission

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from EmberReads
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to interfere with the Service's operation
Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or tags
Impersonate another person or entity

7. Disclaimer

EmberReads is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of book metadata, community ratings, or content warnings. Content warnings are community-contributed and may not be complete — readers should exercise their own judgment.

8. Limitation of Liability

EmberReads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to emotional distress from encountering unexpected content in books.

9. Account Termination

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of EmberReads after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via the website.
