Four years ago, Leonie had gone through the worst experience of her life, when as a result of her innocent love affair with Jeremy Lindsay she had been confronted by the hateful John G Noble, who had done his best to wreck her. Since then Leonie had managed to rebuild her life, been married and widowed, and put the past behind her.
